Robin Williams' shocking death by suicide in 2014 was mourned by many around the world, but none so much as the actor's three children.
Those children - 32-year-old Zak, 25-year-old Zelda, and 23-year-old Cody - got together to celebrate their late father on Monday, which would have been Robin's 64th birthday.
'We're still grieving,' Zak told People for an article posted on Saturday. 'We're moving through the process of healing and recovering.'

The three children - Zak from Robin's first marriage to Valerie Velardi, and Zelda and Cody from his second marriage to Marsha Garces - held a private dinner with family and friends on the birthday.
'We try to focus on the joyful moments and memories,' Zak said of the night.
As the one-year anniversary of Robin's suicide approached, his children have apparently tried to keep his legacy alive in different ways.

For Zak, who works as a marketing executive, this meant volunteering weekly at San Quentin State Prison in California, where he teaches financial literacy to inmates.
'As I go through the process of healing, working with inmates and focusing on the Financial Literacy Initiative and criminal justice reform has been healing for me,' Zak explained.
While Zak did not talk directly about his younger siblings, sister Zelda notably drew back from social media on Monday, claiming she needed to avoid Internet commentary on her father.

'I will be taking a break from social media in the coming weeks. It's a time better served away from the opinions or sentiments of others, and I appreciate your understanding,' she wrote.
Zelda also abandoned the Internet right after Robin's suicide but returned after three weeks, declaring that she would not be 'bullied into silence.'
All three of Robin's children are currently in a dispute with his third wife, Susan Schneider, over the contents of the Oscar winner's will - it is not known if she attended the birthday dinner.

Robin committed suicide by hanging on August 11, 2014, while reportedly suffering from a severe bout of depression and from the early stages of Parkinson's disease.
His death came shortly after an exceedingly busy period of work that saw production on five films released posthumously, plus filming of the first and only season of his TV show, The Crazy Ones.
The Angriest Man In Brooklyn, Merry Friggin' Christmas, and Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb were released later in 2014, while Boulevard was given a wide release in July 2015.
Absolutely Anything, a science-fiction comedy starring Simon Pegg and members of Monty Python, will feature Robin's final role, as the voice of Dennis the Dog in the 2016 movie.
